Emu Holiday Hire Noosa Sunshine Coast is a superb company, one of the best kid-focused companies we've ever used. We hired a portacot and high chair for a family holiday. Both were very good quality products, including a very good comfy mattress on the portacot (which isn't always the case). Emu Holiday Hire had also had a fitted sheet custom-made for the portacot, which was fantastic. Furthermore, they threw in some toys and buckets/spades (complimentary) to our order (which were a total lifesaver for the whole holiday); delivered, set up and picked up everything for us; and accommodated a late request by us for a late check out. Do the Cots have mattresses?

e provide the BabyHood Dormire Portacots which comes with an included Mattress.

The Wooden Cots are the BabyHood FoldnGo which include a 10cm Foam or innerspring BreathEzy Mattress.

The Bugaboo Portacot comes with an included mattress.

Do you install Car Seats?

Yes we do. We hire Rear and Forward Facing Car Seats and Booster Seats.

We provide an installation service at our warehouse 7 days a week between 9.30 and 10.30am. There is a $25 charge for installation per Car Seat.

Bicycle Hire Terms & Conditions

BICYCLE HIRE AGREEMENT & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL TERMS

By hiring equipment from [EMU Holiday Hire] (the “Provider”), you ( THE “hirer”) agree to comply with the following Bicycle Hire Terms and Conditions. This agreement outlines your rights and responsibilities as a hirer. Hire and Rental have the same meaning.

  • All equipment is rented on a per Night basis (not by the hour or in 24-hour blocks)
  • By hiring equipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
  • The Provider reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with the terms.

2. WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH YOUR HIRE

We provide the following items free of charge with bike and e-bike rentals .

  • Helmets (compulsory for all riders under Australian law)
  • Bike Locks
  • E-bike chargers

3. OPTION A) COLLECT & RETURN

  • Equipment can be picked up from our location: Warehouse 7 at 11B Venture Drive Noosaville
  • Opening hours:
  • Monday – Sunday: between 9.30am and 10.30am (or by appointment)
  • Equipment must be returned to the same location during the same opening hours unless arranged otherwise.
  • Late returns will be charged $50 per item/per day

4. OPTION B) DELIVERY & PICKUP SERVICE

  • We deliver & Pick up directly to and from your accommodation.
  • $24 flat Delivery&Pick Up fee all Noosa
  • Delivery & Pick Up Times:

Your Choice of Between 10.30am and 12.30pm OR between 12 noon and 2pm

( we can arrange delivery and pick-up with your Resort or holiday/Airbnb Host)

  • Bikes not available for pick Up during selected designated time will be charged an additional $50 for a subsequent pick up.

5. RENTAL RATES

Standard Cruiser Bike Hires

1 - 3 Nights : $90 (in total)

4 - 5 nights: $145 ( in total)

6 - 7 Nights: $182 (in total)

8 - 10 Nights: $230 (in total)

11 - 14 Nights: $280 (in total)

15 - 21 Nights: $357 (in total)

22 - 31 Nights: $434 (in total)

Per Night Thereafter: $20

E-Bike Townie-Go Bike Hires

1 - 3 Nights : $165

4 - 5 nights: $250 (in total)

6 - 7 Nights: $315 (in total)

8 - 10 Nights: $400 (in total)

11 - 14 Nights: $490 (in total)

15 - 21 Nights: $630 (in total)

Per Night Thereafter: $30

6. AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Age: 16 years
  • The hirer must ensure no prohibited persons use the equipment.

7. LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

  • You acknowledge that cycling and e-bike riding carry inherent risks, including personal injury or death.
  • The Provider is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during equipment use.
  • By signing this agreement, you accept all risks and waive any claims against the Provider.
  • Riders must follow all Queensland road rules and ensure they are fit and capable of using the rented equipment.

8. DAMAGE, LOSS & RESPONSIBILITY

  • The hirer is responsible for all rented equipment during the hire period.
  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as provided.
  • Damage, loss, or theft of equipment will result in charges up to the full replacement cost.
  • General wear and tear is acceptable, but major damage such as cracked frames, or lost accessories will be charged.
  • Any lost items (helmets, locks, chargers, etc.) will be charged at cost price.

9. EQUIPMENT FAULTS & REPAIRS

  • If an equipment fault occurs (e.g., flat tires, broken chains), we will assist where possible, but immediate assistance may not be available. Flat tires are not grounds for refunds.
  • Abandoning equipment due to faults (without contacting us) will be considered a loss, and full replacement charges will apply.

10. BOOKING CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancelled via email more than 24 hours before 9am of the booked date - FULL refund
  • Cancelled via email Less than 24 hours before 9am of the booked date - 50% refund
  • NO refund provided after collection or delivery has been completed

11. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Helmets must be worn at all times (as per Queensland law).
  • Bikes must not be ridden on the beach (cleaning fees apply).
  • Bikes must not be ridden at night without fitted lights.
  • Riders must follow all Queensland cycling laws and traffic regulations.

12. RESCUE & RECOVERY FEES

If we need to collect you or your equipment for reasons beyond our control (e.g., exhaustion, getting lost, flat battery), the following charges apply:

  • $30 per half hour (minimum 1-hour charge) for staff time and transport costs.
  • Any additional costs incurred due to rescue or collection.

13. LIABILITY WAIVER

By signing this agreement, you:

  • Accept full responsibility for the rented equipment.
  • Waive any right to sue the Provider for injury, damages, or losses sustained during equipment use.
  • Understand that participation in activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
  • Indemnify the Provider against claims, liabilities, or damages caused by your negligence.

14. PHOTO & MEDIA CONSENT

  • The Provider may take photographs for marketing purposes (social media, website, promotional material).
  • If you do not consent, please inform us in writing before your hire period begins.

15. GOVERNING LAW

  • This agreement is governed by Queensland, Australia law.
  • Any disputes must be resolved in Queensland courts.

Liability and Indemnification

1. Acknowledgment of Risks: The Renter acknowledges that the use of the rented equipment involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents. The Renter agrees to assume all such risks associated with the use of the equipment.

2. Release of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to rent and use the equipment provided by [Your Company Name], the Renter hereby releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless [Your Company Name], its officers, employees, agents, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, or losses arising out of or related to the use of the rented equipment, even if caused by the negligence of [Your Company Name].

3. Indemnification: The Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless [Your Company Name] from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to the use of the rented equipment, including but not limited to any claims made by third parties.

4. Condition and Use of Equipment: The Renter certifies that they have inspected the equipment prior to use and that it is in good condition and suitable for their intended purpose. The Renter agrees to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and to return it in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted.

5. Compliance with Laws: The Renter agrees to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards pertaining to the use of the rented equipment.

6. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any legal action arising from this agreement shall be brought in the courts of Queensland.

7. Severability: If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8. Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding liability and supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, or understandings of any kind.


What is your refund policy?

We have a generous refund policy. All booking cancellations must be made via Email to info@emuholidayhire.com.au at least 24 hours prior to 9am of the the delivery date and a full refund will be provided. Should less than 24 hours notice be given, the full refund will be provided less a $30 late cancellation fee . No refunds will be provided for items that have already been delivered or for cancellations made after 9am of the delivery date. If you are not satisfied with any of your hire items, please contact us as soon as possible! - we want you to have a wonderful experience.

We have a range of quality standard and premium products carefully selected for our hire catalogue after carefully listening to the needs of our loyal visitors to Noosa since 2005.

Owned and operated by Noosa locals, we have loads of knowledge and tips on all our beach, beds, babies and mobility products

As avid beach goers, we have great advice for the best stuff for the beach. Our office team includes mums and grandparents of young children, and many of our baby products have been tried and tested by our very own Emu office babies :)

Do you charge a delivery fee?

We charge a flat $24 delivery fee (this includes pick up of your items at the end of your hire period) - from Noosa all the way to Coolum beach and all the suburbs in between as well as the hinterland.

We also deliver to Maroochydore, Moooloolabah and Alexandra Headlands. Delivery prices for these suburbs are available on our online booking platform.

Can I collect the hire goods from your warehouse in Noosa?

Yes, you are welcome to collect and return your hire items at our warehouse in Noosaville, 7 days a week between 9.30 and 10.30am . Please be sure to make an appointment first. Our address is 7 at 11b Venture drive Noosaville.

Which rollaway bed do I choose?

The Standard Single Beds are suitable for children and adults under 60kg

The Standard PLUS Single Beds are suitable for adults under 80kg

Choose the Deluxe King-Single Beds for ultimate comfort

What are your office hours?

Monday to Friday: 9am to 3pm (emails after 3pm)

Saturday and Sunday: 9am to 12noon (emails after 12noon)

Do you deliver and pick up?

Yes we deliver to all resorts, hotels, apartments and private homes within the Noosa Shire as well as all the way down the coast to Coolum Beach, including Sunshine Beach, Marcus Beach, Peregian Beach. We can also deliver to Maroochydore and surrounds on request. We also pick up your hire items

What time does my hire period start and end?

The Hire period starts from 2pm on the first day of hire and finishes at 10am on the last day of hire.

What locations do you deliver to?

Our office and warehouse is located in Noosaville and we deliver and pick up all over Noosa shire right up to Coolum beach including all the beachy places along the way - Sunshine and Sunrise Beach, Marcus and Castaways Beach, Peregian and Coolum Beach. We also deliver to Noosa Hinterland and surrounds and Maroochydore and Mooloolaba.

How are your hire products cleaned?

All our hire items are maintained and cleaned using environmentally sound products. All Cot and Bed linen is professionally laundered by Powder Blue in Noosa.

How far in advance do I need to book my hire items?

Best to book your products as early as possible to ensure we have your preferred items available for you. We do have a generous refund policy if you need to cancel for any reason.

For last minute (same day) bookings - you can book online up to 9am or please call or email us with your request. Tell us your dates, your name and contact details, what items you are wanting, and your accommodation details. It’s also helpful to know if you’ve booked directly through your accommodation or via an Airbnb or holiday host.

Can I extend my hire period?

You certainly can do - unless the item/s have already been booked out. Please email us with your requirements.

Do I need to clean the hire items at the end of the hire period?

We do ask that you please brush off any sand and wipe off any food or drink spills from your hire items. On return to our warehouse, all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. All Bed and Cot Linen is professionally laundered at PowderBlue.
